This presentation will d
escribe the impact of SOVT Exercises on vocal tract shapes, and the fundamental principles of acoustic and aerodynamic power transfer during voicing.


Lynn Maxfield, is the Associate Director of the National Center for Voice and Speech at the University of Utah, where he is also Assistant Professor in the School of Music.  He holds a PhD in Voice Pedagogy and an MA in Voice Performance, both from the University of Iowa.  In addition to his research activities, he coordinates and teaches at the NCVS’s trademark Summer Vocology Institute, and serves as Performance Voice Coach at the University of Utah Voice Disorders Center.
