General Information
Covid Protocol
We will follow the University of Washington’s guidelines for COVID-19. Masks are optional outside of health-care settings, and we ask that you respect individuals’ choices regarding mask wearing. For the safety and health of all attendees we ask that you not attend the conference if you are exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID.
Parking and Transportation
From SeaTac Airport (SEA): Located 19 miles south of the University of Washington (UW) campus and 14.5 miles from downtown Seattle. An Uber or Lyft to the Silver Cloud Inn in the University District costs approximately $72.
Link Light Rail: A cost-effective option connecting SeaTac Airport to UW. Disembark at either the University of Washington Station or the U District Station. From there, it's a brief 1-mile Uber or Lyft ride to the Silver Cloud Inn. For schedules and fares, visit Sound Transit's website.
Day of Parking: The Central Plaza Garage (Meany Hall) at 15th Ave NE and NE 41st Street is the most convenient parking location. Rates are $18 on Friday and $12 on Saturday. An interactive parking map is available here. Several bus routes serve the UW campus. The Link Light Rail stops at the U District Station, just a four-block walk from Alder Auditorium. The map highlights Alder Auditorium's location and the nearest entrance to the Central Plaza Garage.
Additional Transportation: Traveling from the hotel to Alder Hall, the conference venue, is feasible via Uber, Lyft, or a 30-minute walk through the scenic UW campus.

Dining Options
Lunch breaks are scheduled for 1 hour and 25 minutes on Friday and 1 hour and 15 minutes on Saturday. Nearby dining options include:
Local Point in Lander Hall: Offers a variety of foods from burgers to pasta to sandwiches to salads. Visa & Mastercard only; no cash accepted.
District Market in Alder Hall: Features fresh produce, baked goods, a full-service deli with chef-prepared dishes, and the Husky Grind café with espresso and desserts.
Schultzy’s (4114 University Way NE): Known for house-made sausages, salads, and sandwiches.
Café Solstice (4116 University Way NE): A coffee house offering espresso drinks, house-made pastries, and sandwiches.
Additionally, within three blocks north of Schultzy’s and Solstice on University Way NE ("The Ave"), there are numerous restaurants, including Big Time Brewery and Pub, Jimmy John's, Starbucks, Sizzle and Crunch, B&B Teriyaki, Subway, MOD Pizza, Chipotle, and various Thai, Indian, Pho, and Teriyaki establishments.
