The Northwest Voice Conference: Advanced SLP Topics in Voice, Swallowing, and Upper Airway is designed to educate speech-language pathologists who are evaluating and treating complex populations in otolaryngology practices and head and neck cancer settings. We aim to facilitate a supportive learning environment that provides clinicians with updates in evidence-based practice and strategies to optimize clinical care within their unique medical setting. 

Learning Outcomes

As a result of this activity participants will be able to:

1. Describe at least one acoustic voice measure and its clinical implications for patients with dysphonia.

2. Discuss how to apply at least one principle of trauma-informed care into their clinical practice.

3. Identify one unique etiology of dysphagia and intervention specific to head and neck cancer patients.
